Steps to Fix AOL not Receiving Emails Problem When you cannot receive emails from anyone or through specific senders, it’s due to an AOL issue. And to fix this error: Firstly, make sure you’ve upgraded from older AOL desktop to Desktop Gold . In case, you’re still using older Desktop version, it’s time to download Desktop gold and install it. Secondly, check that the person is using your correct email address. Followed by this, check if the mails are received in the spam folder.  In case, the spam folder has the emails, shift them to inbox by selecting the “Not Spam” button. However, if none of the issues relates to your AOL mail problems then, most probably your AOL is rejecting/blocking those emails. So, re-configure your outgoing SMTP settings to resolve the issue.
